Lake Whitney Arts (LWA) will perform Robert Harling's "Steel Magnolias," directed by Pam Dougherty, beginning this weekend.
Gail Warren returns to the LWA stage in the role of Claree Belcher. She has been involved with LWA since 2006. Warren has been seen in many shows, including "Always Patsy Cline," "The Foreigner," "Nunsense 1 & 2," "Godspell," "The Odd Couple" and many of the Jones, Hope & Wooten plays. She serves on the LWA Board of Directors. When not on stage, she enjoys swimming and practicing Tai Chi.
Amberly Hadley has been an active member at LWA for almost 10 years. Her past shows include "The Sugar Bean Sisters," "Two Witches, No Waiting," "Farce of Nature" and "Deliver Us From Mama." She is currently the vice president of LWA’s Board of Directors. Hadley enjoys the great outdoors and fishes any chance she can find.
Performances of "Steel Magnolias" are scheduled February 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18.
